Special Retreat with Sacred Peyote Medicine, Ayahuasca, and Mushrooms
Valencia, Spain
15th to 19th of May 2025
Combine Sacred Medicines
This unique retreat integrates the ancient Peyote Ceremony with a Shaman within our broader Plant Medicine program, offering a rare opportunity to experience this combination of sacred medicines in one transformative container. While some participants will be on a full retreat journey, others will join us exclusively for the Peyote Night Ceremony, guided by Marakame Don Juan Ortiz de La Cruz and Devi Chandra Ma.
Over the course of five days, you will have the opportunity to journey with Ayahuasca, Psilocybin, and Kambo, deepening our connection with yourself and the spirit of nature. The highlight of this retreat is the Peyote Night Ceremony, a sacred gathering by the fire, where we will receive the teachings of the Holy Medicine of Wirrarika tradition, under the guidance of the Marakame.
Join us for a profound Sacred Shamanic Peyote Ceremony guided by the spirit of the Peyote Cactus, a revered teacher of wisdom, healing, and deep connection. Beneath the night sky, gathered around the sacred fire, we will journey through prayer, introspection, and communion with the forces of nature.
Before the ceremony, there will be introductory talks to help guide you into the experience with understanding and reverence.
After the ceremony, there is an optional personal cleansing and healing session available for an additional cost, offering deeper energetic alignment and renewal.
Additionally, we invite you to explore the Wirrarika Market, where Marakame Don Juan Ortiz will offer handcrafted jewellery, sacred objects, and shamanic power items made by the families of his desert village.
To nourish and ground our experience, a nurturing breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Held at a beautiful venue in Valencia, this night invites you to open your heart, align with your soul’s truth, and receive the blessings of this ancient medicine in a safe and sacred container.
Spaces are limited. Please reach out for more details and reservations.
Peyote History
The Peyote medicine was collected in a ritualistic way by Juan Ortiz de la Cruz and his community and is offered to us with love and respect. Peyote is a rare and cherished resource. Due to it's slow growth, it is handled very respectfully by the local cultures. We only offer this sacred medicine, because Marakame Juan Ortiz de La Cruz and Devi Chandra Ma have reached out to us, in a gesture of mutual respect and appreciation. This is a once a year event.

Peyote is a sacred cactus that has been woven into the spiritual practices of Indigenous peoples for centuries, especially in areas of northern Mexico and the southwestern United States. For many Native communities, like the Huichol and the Navajo, peyote is much more than just a plant—it’s a bridge to the divine, a key part of ceremonies that guide spiritual healing, vision quests, and deeper connections with nature. The small, thornless cactus is rare, growing only in specific regions, and it’s revered as a precious gift. Its use is deeply spiritual, with every step of its gathering treated with respect and reverence. Because peyote grows slowly and in limited places, it’s considered a valuable resource, and its importance in cultural traditions means that its sustainability is carefully protected. Harvesting peyote is not just a physical act—it’s a ritual that honors the plant’s sacred power and ensures its availability for future generations.
