Who is this for?

The 5-Day Flexible Retreat is open to guests from anywhere in the world. People join us from the UK and the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), from across Europe, the Americas and Australia, and from Asia, Africa and the Middle East. The only requirement is language: the retreat is held in English, and German is spoken too.

Many guests are professionals who feel that something is missing: a quiet loss of meaning, a sense that life has become routine, or a longing for clarity and purpose. Some simply feel "off" and know they are ready for a reset. Others are working through anxiety, depression, trauma or grief.

They often find us while looking for a safe, decriminalized ayahuasca, San Pedro or psilocybin retreat in Europe, because ceremonies like these are not available at home. What they value is a private, calm place in nature and plain answers: what to expect, how the path is personalised, how safety is managed, and what support follows.

“Coming from an Islamic background, I initially had concerns about whether this experience would conflict with my beliefs. But I realized that Ayahuasca is an inner journey—one that unveils the true essence of oneself.”

ASA, Saudi Arabia

What is the 5-Day Flexible Retreat?

A structured five-day retreat in Portugal that combines grounded practices (breathwork, meditation, daily circles, art integration) with optional plant medicines, chosen with intention. Different medicines open different doors, and different people need different ones.

“They take the time to carefully discuss your health, your intentions, and whether this retreat is truly the right step for you at this point in your life.”

Franziska K., Germany

Two ceremonies included, your choice

Ayahuasca, San Pedro, psilocybin or Bufo. Most guests do three. Add more, or take a rest day, as your nervous system needs.

Flexible, not random

Your path is shaped through a 1:1 screening and intro call, a group call before the retreat, and 1:1 intention setting before the first ceremony.

Not ceremony-only

Preparation, daily integration circles and post-retreat support are part of the retreat. For diet and preparation, see our Safety & Preparation guidelines →

Why we work with more than one medicine

Think of your inner world as a house. Different medicines are different kinds of help, and combining them with care often works better than one approach for everyone.

“A highlight that cannot be overlooked was the truffle ceremony on my last day. It was a departure from the Ayahuasca experience, yet equally impactful and indispensable for my spiritual journey.”

Öz Deniz V., United Kingdom

Ayahuasca: the spring cleaning

Pulls everything out of the closets, lifts the rugs, and makes you face what has been hidden in the corners. Intense and raw, it clears what no longer belongs.

Psilocybin: the redecorating

Helps you make sense of what surfaced. You decide what to keep and what to let go of, and arrange it in a way that reflects your truth.

San Pedro: the gentle motivation

Keeps the house clean. Brings clarity, momentum and grounded connection, and helps you embody change with an open heart.

The same medicine can be right for one person and the wrong tool for another, depending on intention, readiness, and the kind of work that is needed now. That is why you choose, with guidance.

What's included: before, during and after

The value of a retreat is not the number of ceremonies. It is everything around them: preparation, safety, integration, and a community that keeps the work alive after you fly home.

“The integration circles after each ceremony were as important and healing as the ceremonies themselves.”

Max M., United Kingdom

Before

1:1 screening and intro call, a group call before the retreat, and a WhatsApp group for orientation.

During

Any 2 ceremonies of your choice, a group talk on arrival, daily sharing circles, and 1:1 intention setting before the first ceremony. Max 8 guests.

After

A group call after the retreat, ongoing community support, and one 1:1 call up to 2 months later.

The Complete Arc: BioPsyche Renewal Protocol™

The ceremony opens the door. The arc around it decides whether you walk through.

Many retreats hand you a peak and then a plane ticket home. The insight fades, because the body that has to hold it was never prepared and never supported afterwards. The BioPsyche Renewal Protocol™ is the structured arc around the retreat: Stabilize before, Illuminate during, Embody after. This retreat is its centre.

Before the retreat, recommended

Stabilize

6 online sessions of 2 hours each, plus daily micro-practices. We regulate your nervous system and prepare the body, so the medicine meets a system that can receive it.

€1,950 for retreat guests
Regular price €2,340. 6 × 120 min, micro-practices, 1:1 coaching and prep

The retreat, this page

Illuminate

Your 5-Day Flexible Retreat in the Algarve: any 2 ceremonies of your choice, daily integration circles, and a calm, comfortable house built for safety.

from €1,600
€1,600 glamping / €1,840 double room

After the retreat, optional

Embody

5 sessions of 120 minutes that carry the insight into your daily life, through the weeks of heightened neuroplasticity that follow a retreat.

€1,700
5 × 120 min, continued community support

Preparation and integration programmes exist at other centres too. What is rare is the combination you get here: one-to-one sessions before and after the retreat, work with the nervous system, the body and daily habits as well as the mind, and progress that is measured in every phase. The spiritual side of the experience has its place too, so that the mystical is easier to integrate into everyday life.

Ayahuasca, San Pedro or Psilocybin Retreats Europe: Common Questions

Can I choose my own ceremonies, and do I have to do ayahuasca?

You choose any 2 ceremonies from ayahuasca, San Pedro, psilocybin or Bufo, and nobody has to do ayahuasca. Each ceremony is framed as breathwork and meditation with optional medicine. We guide the fit through screening and 1:1 intention setting, based on your intention, background and readiness.

Can I take rest days or add more ceremonies?

Yes. Any 2 ceremonies are included, most guests choose 3 in total, and you can add more or take free days. A rest day is often part of a good plan, especially when integration needs space.

Is the retreat only for guests from certain countries?

No. Guests come from all over the world: the UK, the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), the rest of Europe, the Americas, Australia, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. The retreat is held in English and German is spoken too, so the only requirement is that you are comfortable in one of the two.

What's the difference between ayahuasca, psilocybin, San Pedro, and Bufo?

They are different tools. Ayahuasca often works like deep cleaning; psilocybin helps reorganize meaning; San Pedro tends to support heart-centered momentum; Bufo (5-MeO-DMT) can be profoundly intense and existential. We do not treat them as interchangeable.

What support happens after the retreat?

A group call after the retreat, ongoing community support, and one 1:1 call up to two months later.

Can I make this the complete BioPsyche Renewal arc?

Yes. The retreat is the Illuminate phase of the BioPsyche Renewal Protocol™. You can add Stabilize beforehand (6 × 120-min online sessions, micro-practices, €1,950 for retreat guests) so you arrive regulated and prepared, and continue with Embody afterwards (5 × 120-min sessions, €1,700) to anchor the change while neuroplasticity is high.
