Gentle Psychedelic Retreat for Beginners in Portugal: Sacred Energy Awakening

A calm, structured retreat combining Kundalini activation, breathwork, yoga, and optional plant medicine (San Pedro + optional mushrooms), with integration support built into the week.
Dates: 20–27 July 2026 · 30 Oct–6 Nov 2026 · 7 nights / 8 days

Designed for beginners and sensitive participants who prefer a paced approach: clear structure, nervous-system awareness, and practical integration rather than “maximum intensity”.

Overview

A structured retreat for beginners (without the “hardcore” vibe)

Sacred Energy Awakening is an 8-day retreat in Portugal designed for people who are curious about psychedelics and somatic/energetic work, but prefer a paced approach. The week combines daily practices (Kundalini activation, breathwork, yoga, meditation) with optional plant medicine (San Pedro and an optional mushroom journey).

The focus is simple: good preparation, clear structure, careful facilitation, and integration that continues after you go home. We keep the group small (max 10) and work with a high facilitator-to-guest ratio.

Key elements

  • Daily Kundalini activation / energy transmission sessions
  • Breathwork, yoga, meditation, journaling and reflective practices
  • Optional plant medicine: San Pedro (Huachuma) + optional mushroom journey (micro or macro)
  • Integration woven into the schedule (not just “afterwards”)
  • Monthly online group integration calls after the retreat (life-long access)
What to expect

What the week feels like

Think of it as a steady rhythm: daily practices in a supportive group, with enough space to rest and process. Some people experience strong emotional release; others experience quiet clarity and a sense of grounding. Both are normal.

If you choose to participate in plant medicine, it’s held carefully and without pressure. If you choose not to, you still have a full retreat: the Kundalini sessions, breathwork and integration work stand on their own.

We care less about peak moments and more about what you can actually carry into daily life afterwards.

San Pedro ceremony (optional)

San Pedro (Huachuma) — a grounded daytime ceremony

San Pedro (also called Huachuma) is a traditional Andean cactus medicine. Many people experience it as an embodied, nature-connected process that unfolds gradually over many hours.

In this retreat, the San Pedro day is held with clear structure and integration support. Participation is optional and always individually screened.

Mushrooms (optional)

Optional mushroom journey (micro or macro)

One day includes an optional mushroom journey. It can be approached gently (micro) or more deeply (macro), depending on your sensitivity, experience and readiness. The aim is a workable experience you can integrate — not “maximum intensity”.

You may have seen the term Penis Envy mushrooms online. It’s a colloquial name for a potent Psilocybe cubensis lineage. We mention it for transparency because people research it, but we don’t treat strain names as a selling point. Screening, set/setting, pacing and integration matter more than hype.

Participation is optional and always individually screened.

Kundalini activation

What we mean by “Kundalini Lifeforce Activation”

In this retreat, Kundalini activation refers to guided sessions that combine attention, breath, music and somatic/energetic facilitation. People report different responses: spontaneous movement, emotional release, warmth, deep calm, or simply feeling more present in their body.

Our approach is paced and grounded: we prioritise nervous-system regulation and integration over pushing for dramatic experiences.

Safety & screening

Safety, screening and contraindications

We keep safety practical and upfront. Before the retreat you’ll have a 1:1 preparation call and a screening process (health history, medications and readiness). During the retreat we work with a small group (max 10) and a high facilitator-to-guest ratio, with a clear schedule and integration throughout.

  • Plant medicine is optional and individually assessed.
  • Medication interactions and psychiatric contraindications are screened carefully.
  • We pace the process for the nervous system and prioritise grounded integration.
